Penelope Pollard

Penelope’s award winning work has been shown nationally and international. Penelope began her contemporary jewellery studies at NMIT in Collingwood in 2002 and went on to complete a Master of Fines Arts at Monash University in 2013. Penelope who identifies as Deaf is fascinated by faces. She works and reworks wire faces. The faces address questions of subjectivity, portraiture, appearance and the role of jewellery. She now lives and works in Canberra.
