Lieutenant Colonel Geoff Grey

Geoff Grey is a leading Australian conductor and Wind Ensemble practitioner with a 39-year professional career to date.

After six thousand+ performances, being invested in the Australian Honours List (1998), and receiving an ARIA Gold Record (2008), Geoff continues to create groundbreaking indie ensembles to fly the flag for live music, support living composers, and create a platform for professional musicians to perform contemporary classical art music in Australia.

Geoff is also the founding Artistic Director of the ADF Arts for Recovery, Resilience, Teamwork and Skills Program – assisting our nation’s wounded, injured and ill re-find purpose and potential through creative writing, visual arts and music/rhythm-based engagement. In all of these fields the use of egalitarian and empathic foundations fosters strong inclusivity, artistic breadth and personal freedom.
