Kath Duncan is a 50-something long-time practitioner and aficionado of disability arts.

An artist/producer with a background in electronic journalism, Kath co-founded Quippings: Disability Unleashed, Australia’s first all-disabled, mostly queer, cabaret spoken-word troupe.

Kath holds degrees from the University of Technology Sydney, Australian Film Television and Radio School, and Southern Cross University. She is presently Research Associate/Chairperson with the ground-breaking Australian Research Council project, Disability and the Performing Arts in Australia: Beyond the Social Model, at the School of Culture and Communication, Melbourne University.
