David Doyle (WA)

David Doyle is the Executive Director of DADAA LTD, Western Australia. David holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (ANU), Graduate Diploma of Education (ECU) and is an accredited Partnership Broker through PBAA (UK).

David has worked in regional and health settings and arts management since 1988. He has worked across Australia, Hong Kong, Kenya, Ireland and South Africa to extend cultural participation for people with disabilities and mental illness. His practices have strongly developed localised responses to health and cultural issues impacting upon grass roots communities.

David is currently working on a long-term project in South Africa to establish South Africa’s first major arts and health program. He has taken the lead role on major WA community arts and health projects recently concluding the ‘FIVE’ and ‘Emergence’ projects, both focusing on regional mental health and suicide intervention in some of the largest FIFO communities in Australia.

David was awarded the National Arts and Health sectors and the WA State Arts Business Leadership Award for his work in sustainable partnerships, between communities, the business and arts sectors. David has served on a wide range of Boards, most recently holding Board Director roles with Fremantle Foundation, Creating Australia, Arts & Health Australia and TURA New Music, Healthway, The Australia Council for the Arts, Arts Access Australia, the WA Arts and Hospitals Consortium, and Screen West Diversity Leadership Group.
