Bounce Back workshop

Location: National Gallery of Australia, Tim Fairfax Studio

Date: Monday 2 December (Day 2)

Time: 3pm – 5pm

Participants: There is a limit of 12 people who can take part in this workshop, not including participants’ carers/companions/support-workers. Please register early to avoid disappointment.

Access: Auslan is available upon request. Please register early so we can accommodate specific access requirements.

Bounce Back workshop: Come and work alongside ANU students and Belconnen Arts Centre’s IGNITE artists, learn a new skill, reflect on meaning through material process and be part of the collaboration.

Over the course of three months, four ANU students and four IGNITE artistsĀ have developed artworks and bespoke product design, utilising discarded strings from tennis racquets. This project addresses the Meeting Place themes through shared experience and builds our collective capacity to address the barriers (attitudinal/ physical) faced by artists and designers living with disability.

Presented by the Australian National University and Belconnen Arts Centre.
